Honoring the 80th Anniversary of D-Day June 6th.
There’s a new book describing first person accounts of D-Day. I just listened to a podcast and it sounds like a good book. It’s 500 pages, so listening to the podcast may be faster. One interesting point the author mentioned was that he wanted to chronicle both the ordinary and the extraordinary, but he discovered that the ordinary often became the extraordinary.
