So why the name 67th Street? As a kid, I never had a favorite number, or color or restaurant. Later in life, for some reason, I landed on my favorite number being 67 because I was born in 1967. Seemed like a good idea. It’s an uncommon number, it sort of blends in and nobody really notices it as special. I began to notice 67’s around, especially street and highway signs and thought they looked pretty cool. I also wanted a website that was uncommon and did not sound like everybody else’s site or blog page. The street signs and highway signs also give the idea of movement and going somewhere. A metaphor for life, keep moving and find out what’s around the next bend in the road or trail. My two career jobs have taken me down a lot of highways and back roads. I have enjoyed the travel and especially finding the road less traveled. On the way, I have been able to find 67’s along the journey. It’s also one of those amazing lessons about life, that when you start looking for something, you’ll usually find it. Enjoy! All photos were taken by me or for me.

Various plates I have found. The New South Wales plate took me a while to hunt down. I had noticed that their plates had a double-digit centered and many were in the ’60s. I was determined to find a good looking 67 plate and finally found this plate after kayaking all-day

The Sibelius monument in Helsinki. The artist created this monument and welded his name and the installation date inside the structure. I was inside looking around and obviously noticed the “67”.
There were no 67 Street signs so I looked around for Hwy sighs and all I could find was an exit sign for Lovissa.
