NOAH PRINCIPLE

God gave Noah a plan to save the people & animals-

God told Noah what to do, to build an Ark, so long, so tall, so wide.

God told Noah what materials to use, gopher wood.

Then God performed two significant miracles, He caused the animals to migrate to the ark and after everyone was shut in tight, God flooded the earth.

In doing so, He saved man and beast.

Whose idea was it?          Gods

Whose plan was it?          Gods

Who sent the animals?   God

Who sent the waters?     God.

Who built the Ark?          NOAH and his family.

Noah didn’t take any credit from God, but Noah and his family cut every board and pounded every nail.  If God sent the animals and the rain surely, He could have also miraculously built his own ARK!

But He didn’t!  God chose to include Noah and his family as part of the salvation of the earthy inhabitants.

The Noah Principle = God uses people to complete His work.

That’s why it’s about Faith AND Works.  The works is not about earning our way into heaven, our salvation is a gift from God, not something earned.  The works are simply God wanting to involve His people in His plans.

Noah and his family worked hard, they labored long days, they got sore muscles they probably broke saw blades and hit their thumbs with the hammers.   God could have made His own Ark, but He asked Noah to do it!

God will do His part, but so often He asks us to partner with Him on the journey.
